Hinesville, Ga. (Wtoc) – The commander of Fort Stewart issued a locking in the 2ABCT zone of Fort Stewart, including the Wright and Evans army aerodrome, as well as in the schools of Fort Stewart.
Community Superintendent Brian Perry published a declaration at Kessler primary school, Murray primary school and the Diamond elementary school that reads as follows:
“”According to Dod Alert, Fort Stewart commander issued locking. The Diamond, Kessler and Murray schools are all in a lock for the moment. There is no immediate threat to schools for the moment. We will send a message when an All Clear is announced.“”
