Trump Border Czar Tom Homan wants the ice to considerably increase the quota of illegal migrants

President Trump’s “border tsar”, Tom Homan, wants ice agents to accelerate the arrest even more after the agency has received a giant boost for deportations with the adoption of the only big invoice.

Homan called on Monday to withdraw at least 7,000 illegal immigrants in the streets per day – more than double the current quota.

This figure would represent 1.2 million arrests if the agents hit their quota every day for the rest of the year.

“And for those who say that 3,000 a day, it’s too much, I want to remind them, do the calculation, we have to stop 7,000 every day for the rest of this administration just to catch those that Biden released in the nation,” Homan told journalists outside the White House on Monday.

Trump signed the bill of almost 900 pages on July 4, opening the door to ice to hire 10,000 new officers and double the ability to hold illegal immigrants to 100,000 beds.

The law “turbocie” the expulsion effort of Trump, said the deputy secretary of internal security last week Tricia McLaglin.

The Ministry of Internal Security will now have $ 165 billion to finance its border security efforts and strengthen the application of ice.

“This 165 billion dollars funding will help the Ministry of Homeland Security and our courageous laws to deliver the mandate of President Trump to arrest and expel illegal criminals and make America again secure!” said the secretary of the DHS, Kristi Noem.

The White House advisor Stephen Miller recently pushed the ice to make 3,000 arrests per day, which has filled out detention centers.

The Trump administration initially gave ICE a quota of 1,800 arrests per day in January and increased expectations in May.

Some 11.5 million people crossed the United States illegally during the Biden administration, most of them released were briefly detained and released. It is the biggest deluge of immigrants in American history, even overshadowing the era of Ellis Island.

The Trump administration stopped 113,000 migrants at the end of March, the post previously reported.

Miller and Homan have already expressed their frustration in the face of the rhythm of arrests.
