Newcastle joins the end of the race to sign 45 million pounds sterling “machine”

Despite all the drama that tormented Newcastle United throughout the summer transfer window, there is a feeling that Eddie Howe will be rather satisfied on the part of the lion of the business of his club.

Newcastle rebounded after a frustrating start in the 2024/25 campaign and qualified for the Champions League, finishing fifth in the Premier League, after also beating Liverpool to Wembley to lift the Carabao Cup.

But the factor of well-being faded after the curtains draped a successful season, with a series of failed offers for the most depreciating the atmosphere, then some.

It is a transfer attrition window, but a window that Newcastle has resisted and now seems to emerge from victoriously, having strengthened through the park.

And although the pursuit of a new striker was an endless and unsuccessful thing until this stage, Newcastle finally made progress, welcoming Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart for a club record.

Why Newcastle signed Woltemade

Although it remains at the conjecture at this stage, all the pointers suggest that Woltemade was welcomed in Newcastle as a replacement of Alexander Isak.

Newcastle’s free Talisman has made a threat to Tyneside for three years now, but has tried to guarantee a move to the Champions of the Premier League Liverpool for more than a month, and seems ready to obtain its wish.

A blow, without a doubt. To Jamie Carragher from Sky Sports, Isak was “the best attacker in the Premier League” last season, after all. He scored 27 goals in all competitions, and replacing him was naturally considered a steep task.

But Woltemade, 23, has all the tools to thrive as a successor to the Swedish star. In all the competitions last year, the 6 feet 6 feet in the center-center scored 17 goals and provided three assists, with the talent Scout Jacek Kulig greeting its “unstoppable” shape in front of the goal.

A fantastic signature, of course, but there is little evidence at this stage that Woltemade will arrive, especially since Newcastle plans to strengthen their front line with the signing of a new number proven, Yoane Wissa de Brentford at the top of the list.

German landing was a good deal, but Newcastle is not finished. Indeed, officials of the transfer of Howe and United have their central championship goal to finish the whole.

Newcastle in the last race for the midfielder

According to the offside, Newcastle joined a late transfer fight for the Atletico Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher, who should move before the deadline on Monday.

Assessed at 45 million pounds sterling by the Spanish giants, Gallagher did not exchange the premier of La Liga a year ago, and although he showed many promises under the wing of Diego Simeone last year, he is open to a dramatic return to his homeland.

Tottenham Hotspur would be at the top of the race at this stage, but Newcastle is ready to jump if luck is, with Crystal Palace and Manchester United also interested.

What Gallagher will bring to Newcastle

Now that Woltemade has arrived, Newcastle is much better to tackle the upcoming countryside. However, his signature comes with the warning that Isak will leave, and whatever your brushing, it’s a big blow.

But Gallagher would only reinforce a cohort of deep and dynamic midfielder, and having been described as “as a machine” in the midfield by the former Chelsea Caicedo teammate, it is clear that he has the support of those who are presented as superstars in the Premier League.

And, in addition, he has a successful method of success in the high flight of England, having highlighted technical skills, intensity and energy throughout his years at Stamford Bridge and his loans of loans with West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace, regularly covering the most distance in a match while being in Selhurst Park.

Newcastle lost Sandro Tonali and Jelinton to hurt after the agonizing defeat on Monday evening against Liverpool, and the presence of Gallagher would have helped inject this little quality and driving against the Reds, who were withered and were pressed against the strings on

During the past year at Atletico, Gallagher played an important role, with 52 times and contributing to ten contributions to goals. His prowess has resulted in life in Spain, and his ability to operate through a range of midfielder roles in England speaks of himself.

Woltemade, despite all its promise and its potential, scored 12 times in the Bundesliga last season, and that does not make a promise of prolification in complete premier League, considered by many as the most difficult division through the continent.

But how can Gallagher’s skills on English soil be disputed? He played with Aplomb for three different clubs, all different levels, and demonstrated his range by doing so.

There is no doubt that Woltemade will rush to Tyneside with a weight of waiting, and that he has large boots to enter, but Gallagher would simply add to a midfielder who already works if in a fluid and aggressive way, and his skills suggest that he would argue immediately.

And with someone like Wissa, who scored 19 times in the Premier League last season, there is in fact the chances that Woltemade could spend the campaign to make jockey for a place at the front of the ship and sit on the bench for a multitude of matches.

However, this should not be a negative thing for the Toon; Even with the potential sale of Isak, Newcastle has recruited in a clever way and has a multitude of options ready to raise the Howe system on another equipment.
