The American prosecutor Pam Bondi boasts – well, without anything with regard to firearms in Washington, DC
“We have now made a total of 630 arrests and seized 86 illegal firearms in DC. 53 arrests were made yesterday, plus 24 ice arrests and 10 cannons removed in the streets. Our incredible American marshals even helped recover a missing child,” wrote Thursday morning on X. “Our mission to make DC again safe.”
Bondi is right on one thing: the mission does not “slow down”. It doesn’t move anywhere at all. The police withdrew the firearms of the street roughly at the same pace as last year, even with the increased demonstration of the federal government.
“DC police files show that they have recovered 2,895 firearms in 2024 – is developed at an average of around 8 per day and ~ 100 over two weeks,” wrote Short news‘S Benjamin S. Weiss. “Federal convulsions on the right track to be more or less the same in the same period, by AG.”
This kind of blatant posture has become common in recent weeks. The federal government wants so much that we believed that its police influx made the national capital much safer, when in fact, it was much more spectacular than the substance.
