Trump Admin adds a banner attacking “left -wing radical democrats” to government websites

The Trump administration has set up banners on federal websites blaming the Democrats for the government’s closure and, in some cases, campaigning with a campaign in a blatant manner for President Donald Trump. A banner on the site of the US Ministry of Agriculture says: “Radical Democrats have closed democrats to government”, adding that “President Trump clearly said that he wanted to keep the government open and support those who feed, feed and come the American people”.
Other websites display similar messages, with a banner of the Treasury Department declaring that the Democrats have closed the government “in the name of reckless spending and obstructionism”. The White House website also blames the Democrats and includes a timer showing how long the closure has lasted so far.
Wednesday morning, the federal government closed after the Congress could not reach an agreement on a financing bill, while the Democrats continue to face a republican repression on their struggle to extend subsidies to the Act respecting affordable care. The Republicans largely blamed freezing to the Democrats, the president of the Mike Johnson Chamber (R-La) writing on X that the Democrats “voted” to close the government.
Not all federal agencies present this type of messages, because the websites of the State Department, the Ministry of Education and the Federal Communications Commission have a banner which simply declares that the sites will not be updated due to the closure of the government.
