The quarter-arre veteran Trevor Harris returns to the action and the Roughriders of the Saskatchewan aim to remain undefeated when they welcome the Stampeders of Calgary on Friday evening in Regina.
Harris has undergone a concussion in a victory of week 3 over the Argonauts in Toronto. The Roughriders won a victory behind Jake Maier backup, then had a Bye last week.
The Saskatchewan (4-0) leads the western division while Calgary (3-1) is tied in second row with the Winnipeg blue bombers.
“We are delighted with the challenge,” Harris told journalists from the Stampeders. “They bring us a big challenge, but we think that we also provide them with a big challenge.”
Harris, 39, knew that something was wrong during the 39-32 victory against the Argos on June 20, but only said to coaches after the competition.
“I was a little vague, but I felt good enough to execute,” said Harris. “I do not tolerate what I did in terms of stay, but it is not the team’s fault, no fault of the documents. I have not pointed out.”
Harris finished 72.5% of his passes for 806 yards, five affected and three interceptions this season.
The Saskatchewan AJ is leading the LCF with 347 yards on the ground. It has an average of 6.2 yards per race and rushed to three scores.
Calgary also has a flourishing runner in Dedrick Mills, who is second with 311 yards and rushed to five affected at the top of the league.
The Stampeders the quarter-Arrière Vernon Adams Jr. launched his first two Touchés of the season in the rout 37-16 of last week of Winnipeg’s visit. It passed for 1,025 yards and was intercepted three times.
