Liverpool would be ready to make an improved offer for the Newcastle United striker, Alexander Isak, in the coming days.
The Swedish international has been one of the best performers in the Premier League lately, and it would be a declaration of the Reds if they could bring it to Anfield.
Liverpool has already had a big offer for Isak rejected by Newcastle, and BBC Sport added in their report that the giants of the Merseyid may not return to him because the agreement seems unrealistic.
It now seems that Liverpool is ready to try again for Isak and will submit an improved offer for the 25 -year -old player in the coming days, according to Fichajes.
To what extent is Alexander Isak’s last story in Liverpool reliable?
It must be recognized that fichajes are generally not considered as a source of higher level transfer, so this story may be taken with a pinch of salt.
However, it is also worth considering that the most reliable transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano, recently said that he expected that the Isak LFC saga was not over.
Speaking on his YouTube channel a few days ago, Romano said: “Internally, Liverpool knows that it is part of the game. It’s still in early August. There is still a lot of time before the end of the transfer window. In addition, Liverpool expected Newcastle to be strong in their position. ”
He added: “Liverpool wanted to show the player, okay, we are really ready. It is not only an informal conversation. It is not only a verbal proposal. It is an official offer.
“Then Liverpool sent a clear message to Alexander Isak. We are here. We are ready. We have the money. We are ready to do something important. Newcastle says no. But Alexander Isak remains in his position.”

Does Liverpool really need Isak?
Liverpool has already signed Hugo Ekitike as a new striker this summer, so there may be an argument to say that they should not also get a fortune on Isak.
Ekitike shone in Eintracht Frankfurt last season and it would probably be a bit of a waste of his talent to move him largely to make way for Isak.
However, if a world-class center center like Isak is available, and if you have money, there may be a case to do everything you need to dive for what could be a unique opportunity.
