Big Bash League: The legend of India Ravichandran Ashwin creates a story by joining Sydney Thunder

Indian cricket legend Ravichandran Ashwin History by signing with Sydney Thunder for the next season of the Big Bash League of Australia (BBL). The announcement marks a striking moment for the League, while Ashwin becomes the first international male Indian international cricket player to be included in the BBL since its creation.

Ashwin will be linked with the Thunder Squad in January 2026, aimed at strengthening their campaign and obtaining consecutive appearances in the BBL final. His arrival was described as the greatest signature abroad in the history of Thunder, causing the excitement of fans and cricket enthusiasts in the world.

Ravichandran Ashwin’s sparkling career for India and IPL

The 39 -year -old friendly friendly has one of the most decorated careers of modern cricket. BBL Voyage | 15 of the Thunder begins in December

Before Ashwin’s arrival in January 2026, Sydney Thunder will start his BBL campaign | 15 With a grand finale against Hobart hurricanes on December 16. They will then return home at the Engie stadium for the Sydney Smash against the rivals of Sydney Sixers on December 20, preparing the scene for another fascinating season.
