Trailer for “Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man”: Cillian Murphy returns

Four years after bidding farewell to the Shelby clan, Birmingham’s most notorious criminal gang makes its scandalous return in Netflix’s official trailer for “Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.” The film, which is a follow-up to the hit crime drama series, will be released in select theaters on March 6 and will be streaming on Netflix from March 20.
The sequel returns Cillian Murphy to his starring role as Tommy Shelby in the “Peaky Blinders” universe. “It seems like Tommy Shelby isn’t done with me… It’s very rewarding to be collaborating again with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of ‘Peaky Blinders.’ It’s one for the fans,” Murphy said of his June 2024 return.
In addition to Murphy, Sophie Rundle is set to reprise her role as Ada Thorne, Tommy’s sister, with Stephen Graham and Ned Dennehy returning as Shelby family allies Hayden Stagg and Charlie Strong, respectively. The cast also includes newcomers Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth and Jay Lycurgo.
Tom Harper, who directed several episodes of the series, is directing the film. The series premiered on the BBC in 2013, with Netflix later acquiring the US rights. “Peaky Blinders” ended in 2022 after six seasons. The show was created by British screenwriter Steven Knight.
