Trading in concluded: Josh Keeley finalizes the permanent transfer to Luton Town

Just a Quickie before today’s friendly match – as expected and reported it a few days ago, Tottenham Hotspur and Luton Town announced the transfer of the Irish goalkeeper Josh Keeley.
We have reached an agreement with the One Luton Town League for the transfer of Josh Keeley.
All the best for the future, Josh!

The transfer fees were not disclosed, but the previous reports had suggested that the Spurs will have both a sales clause and a buyout clause in Keeley’s contract, which indicates how much they assess the young goalkeeper. Keeley had an exceptional loan in League One last season with Leyton Orient, and is now joining Luton, who was relegated to the championship last season.
Luton’s relegation probably means that they will be one of the best clubs in the League one and will more likely make promotion to the second flight. It is therefore a fairly decent loan for Keeley, who has already proven that he can hack him in the third division. If Luton is promoted this season, it is more likely that Keeley can be taken by a Premier League club in the future, and the Spurs think he has the ability to do so as a Premier League footballer.
But the moment does not suit him for Spurs. He is firmly behind Guglielmo Vicario and Antonin Kinsky (the latter, the same age as Keeley) and the fact that he will not be an adult or formed by the club means that he is also behind Brandon Austin, although he is probably a goalkeeper. Having some options to bring it back or get money on the road to him is intelligent.
Good luck, Josh.
