“ Tracker ” has just created a new enemy to Colter in season 3 – and it is worse than Mary Dove Shaw

Publisher’s note: the following contains spoilers for the final of season 2 of the tracker. After this killer Tracker Final of the season, “Echo Ridge”, things look at Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley). Having discovered the truth (or, part of it anyway) about the death of his father, the final of season 2 suggests that Colter could find itself at a brand new antagonist next season. But if you thought Mary Dove Shaw (Wendy Crewson) was the only villain that “Echo Ridge” installs, you are wrong. In fact, the episode also opens the door to other relations with a local drug lord named Ronnie Yates (Artin Tony Browne) – And it could be very bad news.

Before Colter discovered anything about his mother’s involvement in the death of his father, his investigation into Bill Weaver (Brian Keane) The disappearance in Echo Ridge led him to meet Ronnie Yates. Yates had discovered Weaver’s investigation on Carl Murphy (Shane Leydon) and had changed Murphy to this fact. It finally led to the death of Weaver. However, Yates did not know that Murphy was involved in a child trafficking network and, as such, promised to take revenge on the former trucker himself. But Colter does not give Yates a chance, threatening the outlaw if he hinders. It is clear of the way Browne plays the character who There is a darker side in Yates while waiting to go out (It comes a little with the drug territory), and although he and Colter do not share a scene in “Echo Ridge”, it is quite possible that he can come back like a thorn on the side of our hero.

Earlier in the episode, Yates was described by Colter’s former friend, Joe Marsh (Drew Powell), As a dangerous person who should actively avoid getting involved. Some time after Colter left Echo Ridge, Yates moved and started his operation, and the hometown of our hero was never the same. Although it clearly traces the line of children’s trafficking, it is still a serious threat to the local population, especially since it continues its operation, making Echo Ridge an even greater target. To worsen things, Colter pulled a pistol on man, and although he played all cool, Yates, whose name evokes thoughts of thoughts Clint Eastwood‘s Rawhide The character, “Rowdy” Yates, seems to be the type of individual who would hold a nasty resentment. It would not be the first time that Colter has been in the midst of a war against drugs – He was barely out of “Shades of Gray” from season 2 living – but it would be the most personal than his connection with the criminal world has ever obtained.

Could the “tracker” launch Colter and his family in the middle of another drug war?

From what we can say, it may be possible that season 2 has just introduced a recurring new antagonist to Colter. After all, any self -respecting drug lord who is threatened by the threat of a weapon in his own vehicle would not dare this kind of lack of respect, right? It seems possible, perhaps even probably, that Yates would retaliate against Colter at a given time in season 3. One possibility is that Yates can know more about Colter, to target his mother, who still lives in Echo Ridge. It is also possible that he can examine some of Colter’s allies and also threaten them. Better still, If Yates believes that Colter is a threat to his widest operation, he can even try to use the law against him. Who knows, it can even be an interesting way to bring back a character like the special agent of the FBI Moss (Tahmoh Penikett).

Of course, these are largely speculation at this stage. The truth is that we have no idea if Yates will return to Tracker Next season, if ever. But as more and more characters have started to reproduce in this program, it looks like a strong possibility. Given Colter’s deep ties with Echo Ridge (especially after all he learned last season), revisiting his hometown more frequently in the future seems even more likely. Even if Colter only visits home once a season (as he has done so far), He still might put himself in the Ronnie Yates reticle. Considering Leo Sharf (Wahdat page) was a somewhat disappointing recurring antagonist, perhaps a character like Yates is just the kind of villain who Tracker needs?
