Tottenham Hotspur would have had the opportunity to sign the Portuguese international striker Rafael Leao from AC Milan.
It will be interesting to see if they take the opportunity to move for the 26 -year -old in the coming weeks. According to a TBR Football report, the player does not want to move away from the Italian club and he wants to continue in Milan. In addition to that, Max Allegri does not want to lose Leao either.
It seems very unlikely that Tottenham can conclude the agreement. Manchester United was also linked to Leao.
Leao is not enthusiastic at the exit of Milan
Bailey told TBR Football: “My understanding is that the intermediaries at the rear of the transfer of sound and the injury of Maddison put Leao to the Spurs, in theory. Opportunistic, yes, but that’s how some of the world’s largest offers have occurred.
“However, I spoke to Milan, and nothing happens. They have a new manager, but I am told that even if Massimiliano Allegri has just passed through the door, he is firm on his position that Leo remains.”
Rafael Leao would improve spurs

It is not a secret for anyone that Tottenham needs more depth in the attack unit, especially after the departure of the Heung-Min son. Leao scored 12 goals and 13 assists in his name last season. The Portuguese international has the qualities to improve them, and he also has physical and technical attributes to do well in English football. However, it has no interest in moving to the Premier League at the moment, and the Spurs will be very difficult to change this position.
It would be ideal for Tottenham to go to targets. They must invest in a dynamic attacker who can slip into large areas and also operate centrally. Dominic Solanke was quite poor in the attack last season, and he needs more support in the attack.
