Tottenham made of Morgan Rogers priority after missing Eze

Tottenham identified Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa as their next attack objective after missing Ebelechi Eze, according to reports.
Spurs have already contacted intermediaries to explore the possibility of a move, although villa is reluctant to sell the 22 -year -old, who was appointed young player of the year PFA on Tuesday.
Rogers is under contract at Villa Park until 2030, which means that any offer should be important. The figures of 80 million pounds sterling have been floated, but the initiates think that the price can be even higher before Villa envisages negotiations.
Financial pressures could still influence their position. Villa was sentenced to a fine of 9.5 million pounds sterling by UEFA for breaking the financial rules after their wage bill has exceeded 90% of income, and they are limited to recording new signatures unless sales compensate for sales. Despite this, the club considers Rogers as a key element of their future.
For Tottenham, the search for reinforcements intensified after the loss of James Maddison against injury and frustration on the market.
They missed both Eze and Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest, while an offer of 67 million pounds sterling for Manchester City Savinho winger blocked.
The club remains active on several fronts, with Maghnes Akliouche from Monaco a leading target. The Spurs would ideally bring two attackers, with Tyler Dibling from Southampton, Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig and Nico Paz de Como as well.
The pressure rises on the hierarchy of the Spurs to deliver after a deadly summer on the market, and the rival clubs are fully aware of their need to do business before the deadline.
