Tottenham Hotspur hopes to sign Bayern Munich Joao Palhinha midfielder during the summer transfer window.

According to a TBR Football report, they hope to connect to 20 million pounds sterling, but the German champions are costly about 30 million pounds sterling. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can reach a compromise in the coming weeks.

The Portuguese international has not been able to settle as a player for the German champions, and leaving the club would be ideal for him. Bayern Munich will seek to recover money from his departure and also invest in the game team.

Tottenham needs Palhinha

Meanwhile, Tottenham needs more physics and defensive coverage in the middle of the park, and the former Fulham star would be the ideal acquisition. He has shown his abilities in the Premier League in the past, and he could have an instant impact at the London Club. The reported price seems reasonable for a player of his quality and his experience.

It will be interesting to see how the situation is developing. Palhinha was also linked to Arsenal.

The midfielder is at the top of his career and he has to play regularly. Sitting on the bench of the German club will not be beneficial to him. Tottenham is an attractive destination, and they can also offer him football in the Champions League.

With the difference in evaluation between the two non -substantial clubs, it is fair to assume that an agreement could be concluded in the coming weeks.

The midfielder was labeled as a “fantastic” player of the former Tottenham star, Harry Kane. There is no doubt that he has the quality to play for a big club like Tottenham, even if the move to the German club did not work for him.
