Tory Lanez Case: This is what happened

On July 12, 2020, after a party at the swimming pool at Kylie Jenner, Megan Thee Stallion (the real name Megan Pete) allegedly allegedly fired on both feet during an argument when they were going into a vehicle with Megan’s former friend, Kelsey Harris and Lanez’s bodyguard, Jaquan Smith.

Megan needs surgery to eliminate the bullet fragments and X-rays presented at the trial confirmed wounds on the feet, she said. Lanez was sentenced on the basis of evidence comprising Megan’s testimony, a text by Harris declaring “Tory Shot Meg” and a prison appeal in which Zois apologized.

However, Lanez maintained his innocence and his team has now introduced new claims contesting the story.

New claims and bodily images

On May 14, 2025, Unit The People, representing Lanez, held a press conference alleging that Kelsey Harris, not Lanez, shot the weapon. Their principal consultant, Walter Roberts, cited a declaration by Bradley James, would have the former bodyguard of Harris, who said that he had heard Harris admitting having fired three shots in Megan.

Roberts said Lanez intervened by dropping Harris’s arm, causing two additional shots and never shot the weapon itself. This is aligned with the testimony of Sean Kelly, a neighbor who witnessed the incident and reported having seen two women fighting before shots were taken.

In addition, images of Bodycam from the Night of the incident, widely shared on X, shows Megan Tye Stallion speaking to the police. In the video, she seems in distress, asking: “Madam, do you think we are going to prison? … I really can’t go to prison … I can’t have that on my image … Glass … I was not shot dead, no sir …”

Megan Thee Stallion, in a post Tiktok Post of May 19, 2025, vehemently denied the new affirmations, calling a “demon” and claiming: “He did not dare to go up on this stand and deny that he pulled me because he knows that he did this sh–.”

Neither the civil servants nor the team of Megan Thee Stallion reacted to the newly emerged affirmations.
