Tom Cruise works on “many other films”, but confirms Top Gun: Maverick Suil still performs
Tom Cruise is perhaps about to publish what has been teasing like the Final Mission film: impossible, but the Mega Star which loves blows is already heading to his next sensations race. And although it could take some time, Cruise has offered an update on a series of Smash Hit Top Gun of 2023: Maverick is in preparation.
That said, even Cruise himself knows exactly when we could see a third film in the Top Gun franchise, the actor saying to the Australian Talk Show today that, although a suite of Top Gun: Maverick is officially in development, he has a lot of irons in fire, including a potential suite to another of his octane films raised from the 90s, days of thunder.
“Yeah, we think and talk about many different stories and what we could do and what is possible. It took me 35 years for, you know, understand Top Gun: Maverick with things,” he jokes. “But, therefore, all these things we are working on, we are discussing days of Thunder and Top Gun: Maverick.
“And, you know, there are many other films on which we are working actively at the moment. I’m still shooting a film, preparing a film, publishing a film. I just finished a film with Alejandro Iñárritu too, who made the ghost, and we were released with that. It was, you know, an extraordinary experience. And we [Christopher McQuarrie] And I always work on several different films. “”
The film still without title of Cruise with Iñárritu is planned for an release at the end of 2026. As for what he could work with Mcquarrie, which made four of the Mission films: Impossible, including The Last, The final calculationCruise is prudent in the interview so as not to exclude the possibility of another M: I film in the future, saying that he “just wants the public to benefit”.
“They will see him, they like this film,” he said. “This is a highlight of this kind of story in the past 30 years, and I just want them to really go and enjoy the image.”
