Friday, the owner of the minority of the Raiders of Las Vegas attended the practice of the team’s training camp on Friday and would have been impressed by a recruiter.
According to Nick Walters of Channel 13 News Las Vegas, Brady had a long conversation with the recruit receiver of which Thornton during the practice of the raiders, and the quarter of the renowned temple is impressed by the fourth round receiver of Tennessee.
“We could not shoot all Tom Brady’s interactions at the Raiders camp, but a longer conversation than I saw was with Wr Do’e Thornton,” wrote Walters on X.
“Brady looked like an eye with the Tennessee recruit 6’5. The owner of the Vegas minority apparently likes what he sees.”
Thornton stood out at the camp and asserts a case for an early playing time in the Raiders offensive.
The 22 -year -old was not very productive at university, because his best season occurred in 2024 with the volunteers, where he won 26 receptions for 661 yards and six affected. Thornton also played two seasons with Oregon before transferring to Tennessee in 2023, where he ended his university career.
However, Thornton’s speed and explosiveness is incredibly exciting, which makes him a potential threat to big game at the next level. The 6 -foot 5 inches of Baltimore also makes him a dynamic threat to the red zone.
Las Vegas needs another receiver to intervene opposite Jakobi Meyers. Tre Tucker and recruit Jack Bech were also solid in the camp, but it is clear that Thornton opens his eyes and impresses a lot, including Brady.
If Thornton displays a productive pre-season, it will be difficult to keep it out of the field in the regular season, in particular with its large-scale potential and its elite size.
