Tom Aspinall explains why Ilia Topuria is “the future of MMA” before her struggle for the title against Charles Oliveira

Tom Aspinall had a lot of positive things to say about Ilia Topuria before his long -awaited title match against Charles Oliveira. Aspinall expressed his admiration for the versatile Topuria capacities inside the cage, calling it one of the largest superstars in MMA.
Topuria should bring back her octagon in the main UFC 317 event this weekend against Oliveira for the light vacant throne. The Spaniard will aim to repeat his spectacular results from last year and to become a champion with two divisions. He notably took several blows to Oliveira before their competition, expressing confidence in his prowess with direct elimination.
In a recent episode of Fight against the laboratory On the youtube channel of TNT Sports, Aspinall opened on the headliner of the UFC 317. The Brit praised Topuria, saying:

Topuria surprised everyone when he eliminated Alexander Volkanovski at the UFC 298 last year, becoming the new featherweight pinging. The 28 -year -old man then reproduced the strong power in his hands at the UFC 308 and became the first fighter to eliminate the former champion Max Holloway during his first defense of the title. Earlier this year, he canceled his featherweight title to leave his mark in the 155 pound division.
As for Aspinall, he was raised to the status of undisputed heavyweight champion after Dana White made the announcement at UFC Baku last weekend. This came after the retirement of Jon Jones of the sport.

“Jon has done so many great things in sport. He has fought the best of the best in the past ten years. So, I don’t think he doesn’t break anyone. He just wants to retire. He is tired, perhaps, of the game or other, and he wants to retire. I don’t think he is lowering someone because you can always find a guy [new]’He’s next [to beat Jones]. Even if he beats Tom Aspinall, there will be someone again. ”
