Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Jim Curtis shares tips for finding love at any age.
On Wednesday, October 29, the author and hypnotherapist shared an excerpt from a Q&A session on Instagram where he answered the question: “How do you find love at 42?”
“That’s a great question, like at 22 and 32, but with more confidence, more experience and more authenticity,” Curtis said. “You are not old. Love yourself first and recognize that you are the perfect age.”
He added: “And that life isn’t over at 42. When you’re 62 and 72, you’ll think back to 42 and wish you were that age. »
“Then start now,” he continued. “Go out, open yourself to love. Make eye contact and smile. Connect with people and, most importantly, love yourself. When you love yourself, you will attract more love to you.”

Curtis, whose Instagram bio says, “My mission is to help you heal and thrive by improving your I AM,” was first linked to Aniston in July after they were seen cozying up on a yacht. The author has since supported Aniston, 56, to The morning show season 4 premiered in September and went out to dinner with the Friends former for a double date with her friend Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka in August.
“[They are] going out casually and having fun,” a source told PEOPLE.
Curtis has worked in the health and wellness field for more than two decades, according to his website.
He specializes in helping people “access the fullest version of themselves” and posts informational videos on social media.
In August, a source told PEOPLE that Curtis helped Aniston “slow down.”
The source added that the actress is “so used to going 100 miles an hour while balancing projects” during her career, but Curtis has “helped her to turn inward and slow down a little.”
They added that Curtis “truly appreciates and feels proud of everything she has built.”
“She can be very hard on herself… He supports her in a way that feels new,” the source said.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Aniston told PEOPLE that she has become very good at prioritizing time for herself over work.
“That’s another thing I’ve gotten really good at over the last couple of years: saving time,” she said. “I just tell the team, ‘White month is over.’ We’re not going to do anything whatever month would work that year. »
