First day of alert: strong storms during the night

ROCHESTER, Minnesota (KTTC) – First Alert Day: Strong with serious thunderstorms are probably during the night. Make sure you have a way to receive significant weather alerts.
Severe storm perspectives:
A threat of level 4 was placed for our Western counties along the I-35. A threat of level 3 of serious storms extends to the east for the areas along motorway 52 and the Mississippi.
Red areas will have the greatest probability of strong winds exceeding 70 mph.
Threats for tonight:

Wind gusts will damage the main threat this evening. Pink areas could have gusts of wind exceeding 70 mph after 10 p.m., the threat of tornado is low, but an isolated tornado cannot be excluded.
Timing for storms:

This is a very approximate estimate in terms of synchronization of storms overnight. Currently, current reflection is that storms will approach the i-35 to 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. this evening. The storms will move near motorway 52 at 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., this timing is not placed in the stone and will change according to the speed at which the storms move.
