10/21 — 6:33 a.m. PT — The White House Communications Office says our story is not true. We remain true to our history. Our story is correct.
Donald Trump considering commuting DiddyThe sentence was handed down as early as this week, according to a senior White House official.

According to our source, the President is “hesitating” about switching. We’re told some WH staffers are urging Trump not to commute the sentence. But our source states the obvious: “Trump will do what he wants,” and we’re told Trump could release Diddy as soon as this week.
Diddy is serving a 50-month prison sentence for violating the Mann Act. He served 13 months and, with credit, could get out in about 2 years – but that doesn’t matter if Trump commutes his sentence.
As you know, Trump commuted the sentence from the former congressman George Santos last Friday.

We know that almost immediately after Diddy’s conviction earlier this month, his legal team was in contact with a senior White House official who has the president’s ear regarding a commutation or pardon. A few days later, Trump told the media that he was aware of the request.

Diddy fell out of favor with Trump when he supported Biden in 2020, but Trump didn’t slam the door on showing Diddy mercy. We are told that it is now squarely on the table.
