Titans Bat Utep at home

Fullerton, California – The female football team at Cal State Fullerton Titans continued its undefeated start to the season with a 2-1 victory against the UTEP at the Titan Stadium on Sunday evening.
The titans have improved at 2-0-1 to start the year. Isabella Cruz Had consecutive winners of the match for the week after scoring the only goal of the victory against Portland and scored on a penalty kick in the second period against Utep.
The Titans were able to play 20 players in the match against UTEP when a few players made their seasonal debut or their first start to the season.
After a slow start while the two teams felt, the Titans found the break in the 18th minute.
Jena Perez won a ball on the defensive side of the field. She dribblored to the midfield and sent him to Isabella Cruz While continuing its race. Cruz was able to nourish the ball in the inside of the box where she can calmly slipped in front of the goalkeeper to give the titans an advance from the beginning of 1-0.

The Titans surpassed minors from 6 to 5 in the first half and held an advantage of 5-1 in shots after Perez’s goal in the 18th minute.
In the second period, the Titans continued their solid game and Sail Bozinovic had an instant impact in his first minutes of the 2025 season. His jersey was fired inside the box by a minor defender and Isabella Cruz was able to mark the penalty kick that followed to give Titans an advance of 2-0.

The titans continued to put pressure for a third goal and Kaylin Raon Had a shot making a boost on the crossbar on a fantastic corner kick. UTEP obtained a goal of nothing in the 60th minute after Olivia Roskos sent a free kick near the line of the midfield which rebounded in the intact box where Hayden McMillan was able to send a past Isaac Ranson. It was the first goal that the defense of the Titans abandoned for the season
The Titans surpassed minors from 8 to 6 in the second setting and 14 to 11 for the match. However, the minors maintained momentum in the last 15 minutes where they made three shots after the Titans received four yellow cards in the second half.
The defense of the Titans was able to see the victory and continue their start to the unbeaten season. The Titans return to the east coast for the second time this season while they are making a return trip to Pittsburgh after falling 2-0 for them last year at home.
