Tigers LHP Tarik Skubal feeling better after the frightened injury

The Detroit Tigers avoided the worst case with the abdominal injury of the Gaucher Tarik Skubal and the prevailing winner of the American League Cy Young Award is aligned to make his next departure.
Skubal, 28, left his departure on Friday against the Miami marlins after 3 1/3 sleeves with tension in his left side. He underwent other tests early Saturday to determine the extent of the injury.
Detroit manager AJ Hinch told journalists that imaging had not detected an injury to note and that he was convinced that Skubal can take his turn in the rotation next week.
The Tigers lead the Central and knew 1 1/2 games behind the Blue Jays in Toronto for the best record in the AL, before the game on Saturday.
Skubal, which has been Al All-Star in each of the last two seasons, has disappeared from 13-5 with an MPM of 2.26 in 29 departures of this campaign. In six seasons with the tigers, he has 54-36 with an MPM of 3.10 in 135 appearances (132 departures).
