Doh-Marion organizes return to school vaccination clinics in the county

The Florida Department of Health from the Comté de Marion offers free vaccinations for the children of its Ocala clinic and mobile county units.

Ocala, FL (352TODAY.COM) – With the start of the university year 2025-26, the Florida Department of Health from the county of Marion offers vaccination services to school extended in fixed and mobile locations throughout the county.

The initiative provides free vaccinations to children aged 4 to 18, helping families meet the requirements of Florida school vaccination. The services are offered to the main Ocala clinic in the department and via its mobile health unit, which goes to several districts, including Belleview, Silver Springs Shores and Dunnellon. Other locations for future or recent mobile clinics include the Silver Springs Shores Community Center, the Dunnellon public library and the ED Croskey Recreation Center in Ocala.

The main clinic of the fixed site is located at 1801 SE 32ND avenue in Ocala. He will organize a large-scale vaccination event on Friday August 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., without required appointment. Additional meetings are available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with hours extended until 7 p.m. on certain dates, especially on August 6 and 8.

Parents are encouraged to bring an identity document with the government issued by the government and their child’s vaccination or travel files when they attend a clinic. Minors must be accompanied by a legally authorized parent, tutor or adult. All standard vaccines at school entry are available, including TDAP, MMR, polio, hepatitis B and chickenpox.
