Wicked the season is almost here – again.
After a long year of waiting, we’ll finally soon have a conclusion to Jon M. Chu’s iteration of the Broadway classic as Villain: for good will be available in theaters on November 21, 2025.
Villain: for good will pick up years after the 2024 film ends. Fans will see Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) living in exile and nicknamed “The Wicked Witch of the West” by Ozians. In this film, she continues her fight for freedom for the oppressed animals of Oz, and her mission to expose the dark truth behind The Wizard is stronger than ever. Meanwhile, Glinda (Ariana Grande) lives in the Emerald City palace, is engaged, and faces the complex truth behind fame.
After not seeing each other for years, the two roommates must reunite after an angry mob attacks the wicked witch. We know how the play ends, but will the film follow the same path? Only time will tell.
In the meantime, fans were impatiently waiting to be able to pre-order their tickets. If you’re one of them, here’s everything you need to know.
