Earlier in the day, Black panther director and Iron heart executive producer seemed to confirm The recent reports according to which the director of Thunderbolts * Jake Schreier is ready to restart X-Men long awaited by Marvel Studios.
COOGLLE – Perhaps ignoring that the news has still not been officially Announced – seemed almost certain that “Jake directs this” when he was asked to be a favorite choice of fans to direct the project itself, but Schreier is not so ready to confirm that he is attached to the film.
During an appearance at the Mediterrane Film Festival in Malta, Schreier was invited to approach the restart and what he would do differently from the previous films of the era of the 20th century studios now disappeared.
“Even if I was confirmed on this film, I don’t think I would be allowed to answer this question” Schreier replied. “I guess what I would say is that it always starts from character and work with great writers and collaborators, and certainly think about how to do something different with any project you undertake. This is as much as I can say.”
It seems obvious enough that Schreier will eventually go behind the camera for the introduction of the heroes of Conic Mutant to the MCU, and we will probably get an official announcement at the SDCC next month.
Schreier has proven that he can acquire a story featuring a team of unsuitable characters (Thunderbolts * Perhaps underperform at the box office, but he was well received by fans and criticism), but he always seems to be a somewhat divisor choice for this project.
The cast should start very soon (if not already the case), and the tastes of Harris Dickinson, Margaret Qualley and Julia Butters would be on the studio radar (they would not have been confronted with Cyclop Alien: Romulus Star David Jonsson and Trinity Bliss, who can be online to play jubilee.
The other names that arose in the rumor mill include Hunter Schafer (mystical), Ayo Edebiri (Storm) and Javier Bardem (M. Sinister).
