Lewis Pullman’s point of view on the sentry that was introduced in Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts * Based a fairly comical costume, but, as is so often, it seems that a previous version of the Golden Guardian’s outfit would have seemed a little closer to his comic strip.
The conceptual artist Constantine Sekeris shared one of his conceptions “very early” for the sentry, and although it was not too far from what was found on the screen, the costume is a little smoother and slightly less militarist than the costume that Pullman carried in the film.
“Publish a very early exploration of Sentry that the final design was carried out by the Grand @johnstaubart de Thunderbolts / New Avengers Film when I worked at Marvel Studios Vis Dev,” Sekeris writes. “This project was led by @ANDYPARKART which was very nice to bring me in its team of already very talented artists of @ryan_meinerding_art @wes_butt @johnstaubart @rodneyimages @jsmarantz @jwsze and you can see all the incredible design work done to all those involved.”
With the rest of the main distribution (with a notable exception), Pullman should come back to Avengers: DoomsdayAnd the actor recently teased the role of Bob / Sentry in the next Marvel Studios event film.

At the end of the anti-hero team film, Bob joins his new allies as a member of the new Avengers, but he very clearly indicates in the post-key scene that he does not want to risk again the sentry in case the void will take over.
While talking to Men’s healthPullman revealed that his teammates will keep a very attentive eye on Bob Judgment DayWhile also trying to find a way to exploit the “miles power that explodes” without freeing your inner darkness over the world.
“The Thunderbolts do not want to let him out of their sight, because they realize that if he is caught in bad hands, or if he is not sufficiently supported by the right people, he could be dangerous. But they also want to keep it close in case they could find a way to use it. It is a very good asset. It is a difficult situation. Play – and how Bob could go into play.”
We do not plan that the sentry plays a too big role in the events of Judgment Day (Nobody lasts very long against such a powerful enemy, not even the doctor of Robert Downey Jr.), so expect that Pullman remains in “Bob mode” for most of the film.
