Three sales by the end of the week

Aston Villa could sell three players by the end of this week as they continue to clean their team.

It is according to an Insider football report, which indicates that Villa is trying to unload Leander Dendoncker, Louie Barry and Kaine Kesler-Hayden in the coming days.

These are not the biggest villa names, so will not come too concern for club fans, but in general, it could be a difficult summer for the Midlands.

Villa has shortly missed qualification in the Champions League in the season that has just taken place, and it seems that their finances are not the strongest at the moment.

Aston Villa had to make a lot of sales of players

We have already seen that Villa had to sell Douglas Luiz to Juventus last summer, when they also cashed the young talented striker Jhon Duran in January when the giants of Saudi Pro League Al Nassr came to call.

Initiate football notes that there is also the uncertainty surrounding the goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, which could be another exit from Villa Park to pay attention to the coming weeks and months.

Meanwhile, we imagine that there will be an interest in stars names like Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins, even if nothing seems exactly imminent as you go.

Unai Emery did an excellent job during his time as a villa manager, but it could be a difficult season to come for him in 2025/26 if he ends up losing as many players and having to rebuild a team of new looks.
