Three local players from the Chicago Fire FC signed with a new contract

Chris Brady, Sergio Oregel Jr. and Mauricio Pineda extend the contracts with the fire for several seasons

Sergio Irregular Jr.
Oregel Jr. is now under contract with the club throughout the 2028 season, with a club option for 2029. Oregel Jr., 20, has become the 22nd local signature in the history of the club when he signed a first team contact on October 23, 2021. The native of Chicago joined the Fire Academy at the age of U-14 in 2018, in which he scored nine goals and recorded 15 Assists during his first season. Mauricio Pineda midfielder
Pineda is now under contract with the club throughout the 2027 season, with a club option for 2028.
