Not everywhere, however.
Wallethub identified the 10 most affordable cities in the United States to buy a house.
“When you decide where to buy a house, the prices of houses alone are not a sufficient indicator of how things will be affordable,” said Wallethub analyst Chip Lupo. “You must also consider how the average price compares to a typical income from the region, as well as things like the overall cost of life and maintenance costs and taxes.”
Lupo and his team examined 10 different measures in 300 cities to make their list.
