This Twisted Sci-Fi Horror Show Surpasses Jason Statham on US Streaming Charts

It’s October and Halloween is on the horizon. Unsurprisingly, this helps the horror genre claw its way to the top of most streaming charts as audiences get into the spooky mood of the season. Among these streaming hits is the sci-fi horror series From, often considered one of the best horror shows of all time, which stars Harold Perrineau in an essential lead role. Beloved by critics and audiences, the MGM+ series may not have aired since November 2024, but Halloween helps it currently sits at #2 on the streaming charts.

What makes From‘s streaming success is even more impressive in its current competition on MGM+, with the horror series managing to outshine the ever-popular action star. Jason Statham. After the couple’s success in 2024, The beekeeperthe Briton found the director David yesterday For A man who workswith the film unfortunately underperforming at the box office. However, since its streaming release, the film has steadily found a place on the MGM+ charts, spending 110 days in the top 10. Elsewhere in the top ten are the likes of Nine bodies in a Mexican morguethe thriller The Instituteand the critically acclaimed 2025 reboot The naked gun. Even Statham’s ass-kicking can’t stop the success of Fromeven though there are still a lot of people sleeping on this awesome horror series. If that’s you, the synopsis for the series reads:

“Uncover the mystery of a town in the central United States that traps all who enter. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive threats from the surrounding forest.”

“From” will return soon

With a near-perfect 96% Rotten Tomatoes rating and a third season that was arguably the series’ best yet, From was unsurprisingly renewed for season 4, production of which began enthusiastically this year. Before the fourth season, the creator of the series John Griffin explained what fans can expect, saying, “With the climax of Season 3, we have, in many ways, reached the end of the beginning.” He continued: “In season four, a new journey begins. The question is whether it will lead our characters home, or deeper into this unrelenting nightmare.” Expect more thrills and spills from the showrunner Jeff Pinkner in the fourth season, the horror dial will surely be even higher.
