Is Amy Madigan in “weapons”?
Although there was not much information available on the role of Madigan in “Weapons” before the film’s release (she even attended the first but jumped the red carpet), she definitively plays a key role in the history of the film.
Again: everything you read beyond this point will spoil the key parts of the film for you, so do it with caution.
Who plays Amy Madigan in “weapons”?
At the start of the film, the public discovered 17 children of the 18 children in the class of the elementary school of Ms. Gandy (Garner) woke up in the middle of the night and left their houses – and they did not return. Alex Lilly (Cary Christopher) is the only child who stays behind, and Madigan plays like his back.
His character, Aunt Gladys, came to town ostensibly to take care of Alex and his family after his mother fell ill. But very soon, it becomes clear that it is completely in charge – and that it has the capacity to control everyone around it as long as it has access to a personal element.
Aunt Gladys begins by siphoning the energy of Alex’s parents, but once it runs out, her classmates become a viable option. She enlisters the help of her background, then uses magic to bring children to their homes.
What else was Amy Madigan in?
If Madigan seems familiar, it is probably because her curriculum vitae is vast and varied – but she has never completely escaped. She played Annie Kinsella in “Field of Dreams”, played Iris Crowe in 24 episodes of “carnival” and appeared under the name of Dr. Katharine Wyatt in nine episodes of “Gray’s Anatomy.
His additional credits also include episodes of “ER” and “How to get Away With Murder”.
“Weapons” now plays in theaters.
