The EliteBook 845 G8 is not all that, well, Elite, in my opinion. In particular its storage of 256 GB is positively stingy at this stage, and although the AMD Ryzen Pro 5650U processor with 6 cores is decent, its Zen 4 architecture is a bit long in the tooth – This processor is released in 2021 and still uses DDR4 RAM. But to compensate for all this, 32 GB of RAM should be sufficient to load this thing with dozens of browser tabs without sweating.
If you wish, you can slip into a cheap SSD upgrade to polish this storage. Everything you need is a screwdriver to get inside, which is more than you can say for most 14 -inch laptops.
