Walton Goggins reunites with his White Lotus co-star in Fallout

To fall Star Walton Goggins found a familiar face during this week’s episode of the hit video game adaptation.
Goggins, who plays Ghoul in To fallspoke to Deadline on what it was like reuniting with his White Lotus co-star Jon Gries. The latter made an appearance in the third episode of the Prime Video series in the role of Biff, a soldier of the New California Republic (NCR).
Ghoul meets Biff on his way to the Legion camp, where Lucy (Ella Purnell) has been taken. Gries’ character is stationed at an abandoned outpost with Rodriguez (Barbara Eve Harris), who informs him that the NCR hasn’t contacted them in over a decade.
Goggins revealed that he had a great time working with Gries again. He said he considers his family co-stars at this point, especially after their time together on White Lotus season 3.”Jon is a dear friend of mine. And any time you work with someone like Mike White, or someone you don’t know in that community of actors or crew, any time you meet them, it’s like family.“
The actor added that Gries was actually a good friend of his before they both starred alongside each other on the hit HBO drama series. “Jon was actually a friend of mine long before we did this, so it was so good to see him“, he explained.
In the third season of The White LotusGoggins played Rick while Gries played Gary. The two characters formed an uncomfortable alliance after their partners, Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) and Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon), became friends. Earlier in the story, Gary, formerly known as Greg, was married to an heiress named Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) and became involved in a scheme that caused her death before fleeing to Thailand.
Goggins’ portrayal of Rick in White Lotus earned him a Golden Globe nomination. The third season of the series as a whole received 23 nominations and 1 (Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music) in 2025.
