“These worlds are ready to collide”

James Marsden made his debut while Scott Summers, alias Cyclops, in the first Century Fox X-Men film, and continued to resume the role in X2, X-Men: the last standand (briefly) X-Men: days of past future.

Although most fans considered that Marsden had done a very good job with what he had to work, the character was seriously underused.

Marsden, as well as a lot of his OG X-Men flow of comrades, will come back as a cyclops for Avengers: DoomsdayAnd hope is that we can finally see what the intrepid leader of the team is really capable on the big screen.

While talking to Variety on the red carpet of the Emmy Awards last night, Marsden was asked about his Judgment Day back.

“You can feel that it is something special. The world is ready for this film and these worlds are ready to collide.”

Alan Cumming will also be back as Nightcrawler, and told Variety that he initially thought he was stuffed when Marvel Studios asked him to come back as “60-year-old superhero”.

We still don’t know exactly how mutant heroes will take into account Judgment DayBut the rumor wants us to see the most powerful heroes of the earth and the children of the atom are fighting. The dominant theory is that Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) orchestrara this conflict, perhaps even recruiting the X-Men to join his cause.

Avengers: Doomsday And Avengers: secret wars have recently been struck with significant delays, with Judgment Day now ready to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026, and Secret wars Positioned for December 17, 2027.

The two films will be made by the Russo Brothers, which will also return their MCU after giving Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War And Avengers: end of game.
