The young father recovers Lyme disease with complementary therapies

Cincinnati (WKRC) – A young father is on the road to recovery after a prolonged battle against Lyme disease, thanks to a combination of complementary therapies.
Tyler Menke, co -owner of Myfitness Suites, was not aware that he had Lyme disease until he has grown significantly.
“When you cross a long -term disease, you look at life a little differently,” said Menke.
It has experienced muscle weakness, joint pain and extreme fatigue before being diagnosed with bacterial infection spread by ticks.
Menke said it may seem Hokey when he described a “spiritual awakening” that occurred after the death of his father and his own chronic illness.
“God found me,” said Menke.
He said that this spiritual awakening led him to concentrate on the reconstruction of his body and to extend the fitness center that he is a co -owner with his wife, Michelle.
Michelle Menke noted that Tyler Menke had started to improve as they worked together on the project.
“He always had the evils and pain, joint pain and muscle pain, but he can face it differently because he is so excited by what he does,” said Michelle Menke.
Tyler Menke has incorporated several therapies into his routine, including body resistance training by pilates, red light therapy, salt salt saunas and cold diving.
“This really throws all the inflammation of your body in a three -minute training,” said Tyler Menke. “It’s difficult, but you really feel the rest of the day.”
He has also added-training sessions such as hot yoga and outdoor path time to reconnect with nature.
“People have an injury they are trying to recover or from any chronic disease; there are advantages there,” said Tyler Menke.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) predicts a severe tick season this year, and Tyler Menke reminds others that symptoms of Lyme disease can be completely resolved if they are captured early.
