Brewers’ Jackson Chourio to start match 2 after an injury to the hamstrings

Jackson Chourio will start in the left field for NLDS match 2 for the Brewers of Milwaukee and Bat’s head against Chicago Cubs, said manager Pat Murphy on Monday.

Chourio, 21, had an MRI after leaving the match 1 on Saturday with a right-wing injury injury after launching a field at the bottom of the second round. It is the same ischio -leg that he injured in July – also playing against the Cubs.

Murphy said Chourio was not 100% and would be removed if he was hampered by the injury.

“I’m sure it’s not 100%, but I’m more worried about the behavior than feelings,” said Murphy. “However, he does not feel as important as the way he behaves. If he arrives in a situation where he does not have the impression of being able to do the work, we will take him out.”

Chourio was 3 for 3 with three points produced in match 1 before undergoing the injury. He struck. 270 with 21 circuits and 78 points produced during the regular season.

The Brewers direct the Best Of-5 1-0 series.
