“ The traitors ” coming to NBC with the non-cell season

A new version led by civilians from the reality competition series “The Treatments” is heading to NBC with Alan Cumming as a host.
The announcement was made by Cumming at the first Conference of Televerse 2025 during “The Plotors: Reality Competition Program Nominee Panel Fyc” at the JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The panel presented the past of the competitors of “Treatments” Bob the Drag Queen, Rob Mariano, Cirie Fields, Kate Chastain and Phaedra Parks.
“We are delighted to bring in the very addictive fans of traitors when we discover the next generation of players and legendary programs,” said Sharon Vuong, executive vice-president of unicenized programming, NBCUNIVERSAL ENTAINMENT. “With our resident host and gaming master of ceremonies, Alan Cumming, on board to introduce complete strangers to new epic missions and a twisted gameplay, this new version for NBC offers a unique opportunity for the cast and the public to meet for the first time and we know that it will be incredible to watch.”
The third season of “The Treatments” was launched on January 9 on Peacock with reality TV stars, including Bob the Drag Queen of “RuPau’s Drag Race”; Dorinda Medley, Robyn Dixon, Dolores Catania and Chanel Ayan of the “Real Housewives” universe; Ciara Miller of “Summer House”; Zac Efron Dylan’s brother; Chrishell Stauses of “Sell Sunset”; Dancer Sam Asghari; Gabby Windey and Wells Adams of the “The Bachelor” franchise; Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes of “Big Brother”; The star of “Vanderpump Rules” Tom Sandoval; And “Survivor” features Carolyn Wiger, Jeremy Collins, Rob Mariano and Tony Vlachos.
Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert, producers of the Peacock and NBC versions, described the format of the show as “one of the most captivating and most spoken reality in the world”.
He added: “We are delighted to work with NBC to open the experience to a new group of civilian players, whose stories and strategies will make the gameplay even more unpredictable – and, we hope, even more addictive for viewers.”
The fourth season of “The Planors” First in 2026 on Peacock and will host members of former members of the distribution of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, from the franchise “The Real Housewives”, “Big Brother”, “Survivor” and “Dancing with the stars”. The athletes and the actors will also join the new season, notably Ron Funches, Michael Rapaport, Stephen Colletti, Johnny Weir, Tara Lipinski and the competitor back Dorinda Medley. As previously announced, the Peacock winning reality series has been renewed for a fifth season.
