Ambassador Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) probably thought that things would become easier once she has resolved the mystery surrounding the attack on a British aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf.
In reality, it is now only found in a more precarious position. Netflix published a trailer on Thursday which gives an overview of the realities of Kate’s situation now that she accused the vice-president Grace Penn (Allison Janney) of having developed a terrorist conspiracy and admitted that she was after the work of the VP.
The president is dead, which can be the fault of Kate Hal (Rufus Sewell), and Penn has just taken over as commander -in -chief. But, apparently, it did not dissuade Hal from trying to win Kate the vice-president.
The trailer for season 3 also teases a complicated relationship between Kate and the newcomer, the first gentleman Todd Penn (Bradley Whitford).

Season 3 of The diplomat Resumes after a shocking cliffhanger of season 2, who saw the president die suddenly, with the vice-president of Janney, Grace Penn, take his place. The new season is currently in production in New York and its surroundings.
The series received an early renewal in October, before the premiere of season 2.
