The tracker does closer to Colter’s team with a change of season 3

However Tracker Season 3 will not be presented until mid-October on CBS, the showrunner Elwood Reid did not hesitate to discuss the modifications made to the series. The series is inspired by Jeffrey Deaver’s novel, The game neverWho launched his series on the Colter Shaw award (played by Justin Hartley Tracker).

Colter lives a mainly lonely life on the road as he traces the missing in exchange for awards. His small team is generally reached by phone while he is on the field. Before the third season, Tracker Lost two team members, Velma (Abby McEnany) and Bobby (Eric Grege).

Tracker The reduced team will be getting closer, which is an exciting change for the series.

Colter’s last two teammates were held Tracker Season 3 will be Reenie (Fiona René) and Randy (Chris Lee). While Reenie is Colter’s lawyer on call from the pilot episode, Randy made his debut in season 2 as a kind of technical support.

Speaking with TelevisionThe showrunner Elwood Reid revealed that one of the goals of season 3 is to “Build the world“Characters, which means that Reenie and Randy will be explored a little more this season. They will also share offices.

Tracker Fans will remember that Reenie decided to open her own law firm in Denver, Colorado, last season, leaving the cabinet for which she worked behind. Randy will be moving in her office to work with her, in a way of speaking.

The plan is for him to give his office a “Digital health verification,But it remains and shares space.

Reid’s full comment on change can be read below:

“… One of the things we do is bring Randy, who was a very strong character from last year, bringing him to Denver to help … a detox [Reenie’s] Bureau a little… ”

Randy and Reenie are a character dynamic not yet explored

Due to the nature of Colter Shaw’s work in TrackerMost of his interactions with his support players are by phone. Although he can call Reenie for legal advice or to dig into someone’s criminal history, he could call Randy to have him hacked someone’s devices. The two have different skills and do not work together.

In fact, they haven’t worked with each other since Randy made his Tracker Beginnings in season 2. While Velma helped Reenie in her office when Velma and his wife crossed an approximate patch, the only other Colter team stopped at her new office is Colter himself.

Reenie and Randy were (separately) on the ground to help Colter find the missing people, but they never shared a workspace. Their dynamics will be interesting to explore, especially since Randy has helped add a little lightness to scenarios also seriously last season.

Reenie has gone through a traumatic event at the end of Tracker Season 2, Kidnapped, so Randy will be a good person to have in her personal space while she recovers from this trauma. There will be a delicate balance there.

Likewise, Randy only interacts with Colter and his own cousin in the cases of missing persons that Colter has concluded since he appeared in the program. The way he will work with a non -family member in the same office is a stranger at the moment.

Reid’s assertion according to which the two Tracker Characters sharing an office “flowers in a deeper relationship“It’s a good sign for the show. The series has struggled to really expand its support cast and their relationships with each other in the past, because a large part of the objective must be on Colter Shaw as a titular tracker.

By allowing Randy and Reenie to share the screen, we have the ideal opportunity to know them better and so that the show obtains a new dynamic. This fresh dynamic is necessary when the spectacle loses half of its main distribution as Tracker Season 3 opens.

This also helps that the two space sharing characters are also the two most likely to call Colter by keeping them things or closing them. To make them team could not only expand the personalities and backstories of Reenie and Randy for the public, but also Colter.

Three seasons in the show, teaming Randy and Reenie could be what prevents the procedure from becoming out of date.

Tracker Season 3 will be presented on CBS on October 19 at 8:00 p.m.
