Bryan Kohberger tried to hide his research story in the weeks preceding and after murdering four students from the Idaho University, but he did not delete his photos from his phone.

What investigators have largely found on his phone are the half -naked selfies of the condemned killer and a number of women in various undressing states, said Heather Barnhart.

“Many of him half naked in the mirror while bending,” explains Barnhart.

We do not know what, if anything, Kohberger did with these images of himself because there is no evidence that he never sends them to anyone, she said.

Then there were women, all dressed in clothing, if at all.

“There were women in bikinis and others who were completely naked,” said Barnhart.

None of these images was really taken by Kohberger, however, explains Barnhart, adding that “these were all cache files saved on his device”.

The only thing Kohberger seemed interested in photographing other than his car – the White Hyundai Elantra 2016 that he led in the night of the murders.

It is a reference to Patrick Bateman, the protagonist of the novel by Bret Easton Ellis 1991 and later 2000, with Christian Bale of the same name.

Bateman, as written by Ellis and described later by Bale, is a misanthrope and a nihilist obsessed with the image which questions his own mental health and may or may not be a serial killer.

There were also two previously published images of Kohberger’s photo, including the thumb selfie he took in his bathroom from his apartment on the Washington State University campus after returning to the murder stage in Moscow on the morning of November 13, 2022.

This image shows Kohberger with a bandage on his hand and a shower curtain can be seen in the background, which had disappeared when the police obtained a search warrant for his residence.

Barnhart notes that this image, just like the shirtless selfies, was also sent to anyone and seemed rather to exist just for Kohberger.

What Barnhart and his team did not find, however, were images of the victims of Kohberger recorded in his photo role.

The photos speak of the incredibly insulated life that Kohberger led before and after the murders, without images of friends or family found on the device.

Barnhart, a scholarship holder of the Institute without and principal director of medical-legal research for Celbrité, was caused by the Latah Comté law office to help in the case by looking for the Kohberger mobile phone and a hard drive for any index.

She previously looked at her expertise on a number of high -level legal proceedings such as the Crystal Rogers and Delphi Murders affair, as well as the Raid of Osama bin Laden.

She says that her team – who in this case included Jared Barnhart, Josh Hickman, Ian Whiffin and Mattia Epifani – was forced to dig deeply because of Kohberger’s expertise, a former criminology student who left a very small trace of indices.

Kohberger is now in the Idaho maximum security prison installment serving four perpetuity penalties.

The former criminology student concluded a last agreement of a second which allowed him to avoid the death penalty in exchange for guilty pleadings of the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Madison Mogen, 21 years old; Xana Kernodle, 20 years old; and Ethan Chapin, 20.

The four students of the Idaho University were brutally stabbed to death early in the morning of November 13, 2022, for still unknown reasons.
