Amazon Prime Video again widens its Christian programming offers with a serial order for the animated adventure comedy “The Chosen Adventures”.
Prime Video ordered 14 11 -minute episodes of the series, co -produced by Amazon MGM Studios and 5 & 2 Studios, the latter which produces the successful series “The Chosen”. The series will present all the episodes on Prime Video on October 17 in the United States and abroad in the United Kingdom, Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and sub-Saharan Africa.
According to the official line line of “The Thing Adventures”, the program “follows Abby, nine years and his best friend Joshua, while navigating in life in the ancient city of Capernaum. When children meet a wise craftsman and professor, Jesus of Nazareth, he helps them change the way they see the world, and they help spread his influence (among the 7 to 12 years.
The chosen adventures features Paul Walter Hauser as sheep, Yvonne Orji as Pigeon, Romy Fay like Abby, Jude Zarzaur like Joshua, Danny Nucci like Abba and Zehra Fazal like Eema.
The other members of the recurrent and vocal distribution guests understand: The star of “The Chosen” Jonathan Roumie as Jesus, Jordin Sparks as Fish, Paras Patel like Matthew, Elizabeth Tabish like Mary, Noah James like Andrew, Joey Vahedi like Thomas, George H. Xanthis like John, Yasmine al-Bustami, Ramah Potter as Quintus, Bank Julian Grant like Cyrius Maximus.
Ryan Swanson is a writer, executive producer and showrunner. Dallas Jenkins Executive produced under the banner of studios 5 and 2. Chris Juen, Chad Gundersen, Keith Alcorn, Kellen Erskine and Derral Eves also serve as executive producers, alongside producer Erin Elizabeth Gardner and the co -producer Myesha Gosselin.
Jenkins had initially revealed plans for “the chosen adventures” in an interview with Variety In 2024. The program is the agreement with the agreement with several facets of Jenkins and 5 & 2 with Amazon MGM Studios, which was announced in February as well as the acquisition by Amazon of exclusive American streaming rights and a theatrical version of new payments of “The Chosen”. 5 & 2 also recently won a green lamp for the series “Joseph of Egypt” at Prime Video.
The news of the control of the animated series comes the same day that Amazon announced the launch date of the Wonder Project subscription offer on Prime Video. The launch coincides with the first season of the Biblical series “House of David”, produced by Wonder Project.
