Of course, they ignore the fact that you are free in America to express your opinions, to embrace the religion you want, to educate yourself at any level you think to help yourself and to marry just anyone you choose.
What would it be to live under a real An authoritarian and backward government that treats women and dogs and despises progress? Perhaps some of the crowds “we live in a dictatorship” should visit Afghanistan, which houses the Taliban to ruthless power.
However, they may have trouble reserving their flights home, because the Taliban cut internet and communication services throughout the country.
