The Supreme Court says that Planned Parenthood cannot contest the financing cuts of South Carolina

Cnn

On Thursday, the Supreme Court prevented Planned Parenthood from continuing South Carolina on the State’s decision from withdrawing funding from the Medicaid organization because it provides abortions.

The decision could encourage other red states to target the organization and make Americans registered in the program more difficult to choose their doctor.

The decision was another loss for Planned Parenthood and its allies to the Conservative Court, which three years ago suffered the constitutional law of abortion by overthrowing ROE c. Wade. Although the legal question at the center of the case is not technically on abortion, the court’s decision threatens the financing of an organization which is one of the main reproductive health care providers.
