Karate Kid: Legends falls into a unique place in the largest miyagi towards the payment. The film led by Ben Wang is the first theatrical episode of the franchise in 15 years. When Karate (2010) was published, it initially served as a restart, with Daniel Larusso, Johnny Lawrence and Mr. Miyagi who does not exist in this world. Mr. Han de Jackie Chan, the mentor of the Karate holder of Jaden Smith, Dre Parker, actually served as a version of Mr. Miyagi of the restart.
Which changes a little in Karate Kid: Legends. Chan is back as Mr. Han, but he enters this film with a background frame which directly connects him to the original films. This has raised questions about the question of whether Chan plays a new interpretation of Mr. Han, a bit like “Reprify” by JK Simmons his role as J. “It’s all hot for the Karate Kid franchise …”
Although there is a retinding with regard to his background frame, Mr. Han Karate Kid: Legends is indeed the same character as the public met Karate (2010).
“It’s all hot for the Karate Kid franchise. [Mr. Han] is the same character as the 2010 film, “Karate Kid: Legends Director Jonathan Entwistle has confirmed. “The original film is always canon. It’s a bit where everything comes from, and I think that something that was really important to me was that in the way Cobra Kai was a new chapter of original films, it’s a new chapter, especially now that Cobra Kai has ended. This is the next chapter in global history.”
And this next chapter is that the effect wants an audience of all levels of Karate Fandom and familiarity to appreciate.
“I think the first thing is to be able to take a piece of IP like this and to do something that the general public can enjoy physically in the seats of the theater”, “ Entwistle noted. “Then, I think you can really start enjoying the grandchildren, the sons of the original films, then some of the grandchildren with whom we were allowed to play Cobra Kai. I think that for a traditional karate audience, a 90 -minute film is perfect for a television audience.

The characters with whom Entwistle were able to play will go beyond the whole the casting itself. Karate Kid: Legends Ventures in New York, a location that is a character in itself. Entwistle recommended with the longtime creative partner Justin Brown to work on the cinematography of this project, which was largely revolved around the creation of a “Cozy, New York comics.”
“We did everything I did together, and we have a very good approach to these types of things”, “ Entwistle said of Brown. “For me, I wanted this New York to feel like the comfortable comic strip New York, where Queens is a 30-second scooter tour of Central Park, this kind of X-Men, a Spider-Man world of what New York feels.
Karate Kid: Legends will be released in theaters on May 30.
