The start of the pirates Jared Jones (elbow) will be re -examined

Pittsburgh – The right -hander of Pittsburgh Pirates, Jared Jones, will be re -examined Tuesday after a setback of the recovery of a tight ligament in his right elbow.
Jones, 23, had been on a launch program when he returned from a tension at the elbow he suffered in mid-March. The pirates said that Jones’ initial exam showed that his elbow was stable and that the club had chosen to close it for six weeks. He started launching by playing Catch at the end of April, with the potential to return to the mound after the stars break.
Jones went 6-8 with an MPM of 4.14 in 22 departures during his season recruited in 2024, although he was seated because of a LAT injury.
The pirates had planned that Jones be in a match in the starting rotation next to 2024, recruit of the NL of the year, Paul Skenes. Instead, there is a chance that Jones can sit in 2025 and a large part of 2026 if Tommy John surgery is recommended.
