The stars of “ Gen V ” tease a time leap “, the boys” Team Up, a dean of Homelander’s America and more for season 2 at the SDCC (exclusive)
Gen VThe long -awaited return is almost there, and in advance on Boys The beginnings of season 2 of Spinoff, the stars and the Michele Fazekas showrunner struck the Insider TV studio and TV guide to the magazine at the San Diego Comic-Con to tease what is in reserve for this last chapter of the series of academic superheroes.
As viewers will remember, season 1 of the show, which focuses on a group of suels in adulthood at Godolkin University, saw several of the students imprisoned in a mysterious place with their uncertain destiny. And Fazekas cleans up all confusion while preparing the field for season 2.
“Yeah, there is a time jump,” she says. “And everyone starts in a completely different place, and they are not all together … They are in a place that was told in season 1 [is] The last place you should want to go, which is called Elmira … Some of them find themselves there, but not all, “teasing fazekas.

Among those imprisoned in Elmira on the basis of what fans saw in season 1 was Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Jordan (London Thor / Derek Luh), Emma (Lizze Broadway) and Andre (The Late Chance Perdomo). Meanwhile, Cate (Maddie Phillips) and Sam (Asa Germann) received the title Guardians of Godolkin, which was teased in season 4 of Boys.
As for the way it shakes the group’s dynamics at school, Phillips admits: “It’s a bit tense. It’s a bit annoying. Yes, it’s not completely peaceful.”
Meanwhile, there is a new dean at school while Hamish Linklater intervenes to play Dean Cipher. When asked if his character is not good or not, Linklater jokes: “Well, I don’t think that supposing things on a person is very nice.”
“Yeah, I play Dean Cipher. This name should inspire a lot of confidence in everyone,” continues Linklater. “He is the new dean, and many has changed at Godolkin University since season 1. We are now in Homelander America, right? And he’s dean for this America,” warns the star.
When it comes to Boys crossing, the trailer of Gen V Season 2 teased the Starlight’s crossover with Marie, to which Sinclair Note: “It was so fun to work with Erin, she is great. I loved it. We had a lot of fun together.”
As for the recruitment of a starlight mission for Marie, Sinclair shares: “Marie does not know Starlight beyond what she saw [in the media]And Marie is in a way in a bad situation … Then Starlight introduces herself and then offers her this mission with all these things that she has not heard of, and she does not really know this girl. So I think there is a good amount of excitement and flattery, but also skepticism in the same way, why should I trust you to send me in this mission? »»
