Wolves have had a difficult summer transfer window so far, but they hope to end it at the top in the past few weeks. The departures of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Noudri at Man United and Man City respectively were of great blows, but that means that they have a lot of money to spend.
Fer Lopez, Jhon Arias and David Møller Wolfe have been signed so far by the Wolves, who need additional additions before the transfer window is closed in early September. The departure of Nelson Semedo, whose contract expired at the beginning of last month, means that a right back is necessary, and they could now have the opportunity to obtain one from the championship.
Coventry Milan Van Ewijk defender offered to the wolves
According to Tom Collomosse du Daily Mail (via FootballFancast), wolves had the opportunity to sign Milan Van Ewijk de Coventry. The 24 -year -old, who was an interpreter outside competition for the championship since he joined Heerenveen in 2023, would be available for a market price of 15 million pounds sterling.
Wolves have examined a number of right back options in recent weeks, including Julian Ryerson from Borussia Dortmund. But with Sunderland also for him, concluding an agreement could be very difficult, but with Van Ewijk, there is more likely that they are able to secure his signature – provided that a move is made before the closure of the summer transfer window.
It should be a few very busy weeks for wolves, who need additional reinforcements before the deadline for the transfer window. Van Ewijk would be a higher addition to the right back, but for the moment, it remains to be seen if it is decided that it is the necessary man.
