The national women’s cricket team Yastika Bhatia has been excluded from the next ODI series of three games against the Australian women’s national team. Yastika Bhatia suffered a knee injury during the Vizag preparatory camp which also excluded it from the next ICC 2025 women’s world cup.
Bhatia is currently recovering from the injury under the vigilant eyes of the BCCI medical team. Despite this setback, Shafali Verma is unable to return to the configuration of the ODI of India, because the unhappy injury of Yastika opened the door to the strike of the Assam Uma Chetry.

Now, Chetry has a golden chance to cement his place in the XI Playing at the next Mega event by impressive in the ODI series against the Australian team at home.
In particular, Uma Chetry was already one of the standbys of the next ODI assignments. Shafali Verma returned to the T20is against England, but failed to find a way back in the 50 format on his last appearance in October 2024.
