The spin-off pilot ‘Snowfall’ adds three to Cast (exclusive)

The spin-off pilot “Snowfall” in FX added three regulars in the series, Variety has learned exclusively.

Asante Blackk, Peyton Alex Smith and Simmie Sims III all joined the pilot alongside the prospects announced above and alumni of the original series Gail Bean and Isaiah John. Variety exclusively reported on the pilot prescription in March. While Bean and John will resume their roles “snowfall”, the exact details of the character for the other three are kept under the Wraps.

The official line of the pilot said: “Taking place in the 90s in Los Angeles shortly after the end of the original series, a convalescent drug addict strives to gain rap traffic from the west coast despite the potential intestinal of a heartbreaking gang war.”

Blackk is best known for his role in the Limited Ava Duvernay Limited series acclaimed by the criticism “When they see us” in Netflix, for which he obtained an EMMY nomination for the best support actor in a series or a limited film. He is also known to have played Malik Hodges in the popular NBC drama “This is us” and will then be seen in season 3 of “Euphoria” in HBO. He also played in films like “Story Ave” and “Landscape With Invisible Hand”.
